I'm kinda tired...

So I guess I won't say much this time. But next time, I promise, it'll be SUPER good.

Seriously. I'll leave you with this...

i see i see.
is it hard to get into the newspaper at college? i always thought they kinda just let people in. i guess not though..

i'm more into creative writing than journalism but according to mommy & daddy "writing is NOT a career". they're very disappointed that i'm not going into the medical field. but they are slowly starting to accept my "i'm going to become a journalist" idea so i'm not gonna push my luck.

:)

ahhhh filipino parents. gotta love 'em.

Creative writing is badass. One of these days you and I and friends of mine should start a collaborative short-story blog (you can have blogs with more than one author yaknow). Not just yet though, college is gayyy.

Anyway, journalism is like creative writing in a way...except it's true. And I imagine it can take you exciting places (like...Qatar :P). Filipino parents LOVE the medical field.

Whatever though, I think in the long run they just want you to love what you're going to do (and that's always the best way!)

Marielle: It's a whole application process, there are too many people to just let people in, yagets?

Ina: Join creative writing club. Read shitloads of stuff (doesn't matter what, although it'd be better to read blogs because they're similar to reporting style). The political stuff is kinda hard to get into at first but the best way to get into journalism is to constantly be informed. In other words, if you don't know shit, then you'll be writing shit.

:) ADVICE!
